About the role: 

Shingai Group is looking for an experienced resourceful Head of Finance to join our Team. The role is a full-time position, which requires the incumbent to be at work 5 days a week.

Requirements:

•    Strategic oversight of financial vertical and horizontal analysis for Shingai Group
•    Engage and give financial direction to the group’s global executive team
•    Review and meticulously oversee of all financial reporting
•    Analyse any budget variances and be a strong team player in ensuring the company is performing at its best
•    Ensure compliance with local authorities and strong corporate governance is adhered to
•    Responsible for financial discipline and capital allocation
•    Responsible for internal controls and enhancements thereof at country level
•    Prepare financial modelling for pricing and client acquisition costs
•    Lead and develop admin and finance staff to support the company growth
•    Responsible for compliance with financial controls, local accounting reporting requirements, and tax regulations;
•    Review the ways of working impacting the office's financial performance and propose improvements/changes, where necessary, to existing processes to maximize productivity and revenue potential.
•    Provide commercial and financial support for the existing business and new opportunities to ensure the optimal return for the business.
•    Identify savings and areas of improvement for the Johannesburg office.
•    Comfortable multi-tasking and working to conflicting timescales on multiple priorities in a robust and fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• National Senior Certificate – Matric

• CA/SA - SAICA Registered

• A minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance and Accounting

• A Minimum 5 years in management level

• Advanced Excel capability

• An excellent command of the English language

• Able to communicate with people at all levels with an independent, proactive and positive attitude

• Strong hands-on attitude with a highly responsible nature

• Be meticulous and time conscious
